Course Overview



This course is designed for students who are in Year 8 and are enthusiastic about chemistry! They will get the opportunity to build on the knowledge and understanding of chemistry gained during Key Stage 2 and provide a firm foundation for further study at GCSE. Students will cover the fundamental aspects of chemistry such as atoms, elements and compounds. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify unifying patterns and themes in chemistry and use them in new and changing situations, while also understanding and using chemical facts, terminology, concepts and principles.
