academic-development

Course Overview

This course is designed to help students with the topic of waves, usually taught early in the first year of the A-Level course. This will be suitable for students to get a head start, to consolidate what they have learned in class or revise before their exams. It will cover a variety of topics relating to waves in physics; beginning with types of waves, and we will journey through superposition and stationary waves as well as interference, refraction and diffraction. We will summarise everything we have learnt, and by the end of this course, students will be ready to face A-Level physics feeling confident and comfortable with the concept of waves.
