Have you ever wondered how a piece of music is put together? What are the different elements that come together to create a beautiful piece of music? This introductory course gives students the knowledge and skills they need to gain a deeper understanding of the music they hear, perform and compose, and acts as excellent preparation for a GCSE qualification in music. After this course, students will feel confident in their knowledge about the basics of music theory, as this course will cover a wide range of topics, starting with the elements of music theory and journeying through different topics such as melody, harmony and the structure of music. It is the perfect course for young beginners who want to learn more about what makes the perfect song and anybody else who simply wants to expand their horizons by understanding more about the elements of music.
