Course Overview

This course provides insight into ecology and the environment to a GCSE-standard. It begins with an overview of organisation and the food chain, and then gradually builds in complexity with each lesson. By the end of this course, students will have a clear understanding of the water, carbon and nitrogen cycle, selective breeding, genetic modification, cloning in both animal and plants and nutrition in plants. During this course, students will develop their scientific reasoning and analytical skills, whilst revising all areas of this topic to address any misconceptions and prepare students for their exams, with the use of exam-style questions. A high level of interactivity and discussion is encouraged during lessons for students to receive the maximum benefit.
