This is a creative course that highlights how poetry is a unique way to express oneself. Students will learn the foundations of poetry, before writing and performing their own poems.
This is a fun course that equips students with the skills to write poetry from scratch. Poetry can be a challenging topic for many students, but after completing this course they will realise that poetry is a fantastic form of writing and a brilliant way to express oneself. Students will be guided through the basic tenets of poetry, before developing their own ideas and planning, writing and performing their poem. This course involves a range of audio-visual materials to engage and inspire aspiring poets and promises to be an enjoyable way into the genre. After this course, students will have the confidence to write and perform their own poetry. Anybody interested in writing poetry for the first time or developing already-established skills will benefit greatly from this course.
