This course is designed for young students who are learning phonics. It will cover all speed sound cards. Learning, recognising and understanding the sounds and also moving onto sound blending. First students will learn how to say the sound that is represented by each letter. These sounds are known as 'speed sounds'. Then students will learn how to blend the sounds together in a word to read for example, C-A-T = CAT. This is known as 'sound blending'. On this course, students will learn the sounds M, A, S, D, T, as well as how to blend them and will also work on letter formation.
