This course is designed for young students who are learning phonics. It will cover all speed sound cards, learning, recognising and understanding the sounds and also moving onto sound blending. First, students will learn how to say the sound that is represented by each letter. These sounds are known as 'speed sounds'. Then they will learn how to blend the sounds together in a word to read for example, C-A-T = CAT. This is known as 'sound blending'. Through this course, students will learn to sound out the letters F,E,L,H and the sound SH. Towards the end, they will cover all sounds and work on letter formation.
