Managing stress and anxiety has become a common part of modern life for many people. What better way to combat these afflictions that with the fun and flexible practice of yoga?
This course is an introduction to Hatha Yoga and how it can easily reduce stress and anxiety. Our mind is usually stuck in the past or focussed on the future. It is such a challenge to stay in the present moment. Yoga is here to help and save the day! This course will teach students to synchronise their breath with their movement, give them postures that will make them feel relaxed and grounded, and students will also do twisting postures to release any negativity floating around the body and mind. In the last lesson, students will be taken through a guided, Yoga Nidra session, where they will find the middle ground between sleep and consciousness. This has been proven to build awareness and reduce stress.
