Course Overview



Have you ever looked at the current political climate and thought, what an earth is going on? This course will take students through an overview of politics today. Students will also go back in history to examine key themes and key events in political history that have shaped the present political climate. There will be a variation of types of study on this course, from analysis of current events such as BREXIT, to examining key historical political figures such as Winston Churchill. Students will gain a clear understanding of how democracy works while being educated on the political ideologies in the 20th and 21st century. Once students have understood these concepts, they will have the opportunity to examine and discuss their own political beliefs.
