Course Overview

Have you ever wondered how we got to where we are? Or are you just curious as to how the Cold War is relevant today? This course is designed to these questions and much more. By examining the societal structures in place in both the East and West, students will form a clear understanding of the problems between both sides from 1945 to 1990. Once this understanding has been reached, students will then examine how this set the foundations for the world order in which we live today by making historical interpretations and connections. This programme will also develop students' essay writing skills.
