How can yoga teach us that movement makes us feel good? By understanding that yoga is a health management system, making breathing and moving easier, we start to understand how yoga can help us to take care of ourselves better. Yoga uses the body to exercise and control the mind, and through regular practice, we open ourselves up to a variety of different effects; stimulating, calming, energising, building stamina or concentration, promoting sleep and much more. This course will uncover how students can make it a habit to feel good with movement and help them to understand how movement can have a profound effect on how the inner organs' function. The programme will cover how standing poses give students energy, balancing brings a sense of lightness, and supine poses are restful and soothing. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge that yoga oxygenates the body, filling it with healthy blood, and also decongests and rests the body to leave them feeling lighter and calmer.
