Students will tackle what transcription is, song forms, figuring out the time and key signatures with theory and by ear, writing charts and how these can help with other skills and professional musical environments. After this course, students will have had an in-depth introduction to transcription and have learnt what chords are, as well as symbols and shortcuts. Similarly, students will be versed in ear training and general music theory.
