Complete coverage of all the skills you'll need to complete law assessments on the English LLB programme. This course includes everything from problem questions to long research projects.
The transition into a law degree from school can be difficult because of the volume of new materials that has to be digested and the methodologies that have to be learnt. However, the biggest factor which holds new students back from achieving high grades is often not a lack of understanding of the subject but figuring out how to write essays well, i.e. clearly and with well-structured reasoning. This general course is designed to prepare students for completing law assessments on the English LLB programme, or as an optional module from other degree disciplines. On this course, students will cover general skills for revision, as well as targeted sessions for different types of assessments, such as problem questions, essay questions, dissertations, articles, and Covid-style take-home exams.
