A confrontation of many of the misconceptions surrounding drugs, getting to the truth and allowing students to make fully informed decisions. Debate and conversation is heavily encouraged on this course.
There are many misconceptions and myths about drugs, much of which comes from the media. This course looks to address this and take apart these myths and get to the true facts about drugs, the effects they have and the possible consequences of taking them. During this course, students will learn to make safe and informed decisions about drugs, understand the long and short-term effects and fully comprehend the consequences of becoming involved with drugs. This course will be an open space for discussion, and students will be encouraged to enter into conversations and debates, to allow students to develop opinions around the subject.
