Course Overview



This programme will explore the basic skills required for mathematics GCSE papers. The main purpose of this course is to aid the revision process of struggling students to give them the necessary skills and confidence to approach their exam. It could also benefit able Key Stage 3 students looking forward to Key Stage 4 and wanting to get a head start. This course begins with number and concludes with statistics. Students are encouraged to work hard on mastering the fundamentals before working on more complex problems. Further to this, students of this course are treated like true mathematicians, under the assumption that they will take maths to a higher level. In this way, a mathematical way of thinking is fostered and students are all the better suited to tackle problems.
