Learn how to be the most convincing version of yourself on paper, as well as build confidence in your reading abilities. Students will receive feedback on their writing, as well as on recitations of their work.
This course studies persuasive writing, both as a reader and as a writer. During this course, students will also have a chance to present their texts orally, and receive feedback and advice for the oral part of their English exams. Students will study in detail the literary devices used by writers in order to make their texts more convincing and effective. The lessons will pinpoint these writing techniques, require students to write about them and ultimately learn how to use them in their own writing. Students will be guided through this process, and by the end of the course, they will be able to use these devices confidently in their own writing. This programme is equally suitable for those students who are looking to take a related exam or those who are simply driven by curiosity and a desire to improve.
