Take this course to learn all about how to perform Shakespeare with maximum effectiveness. This lesson series is equally suitable for thespians, as well as those looking to improve their general speech delivery.
Ever wanted to know what it's like to perform on the Globe stage in London? Or to gain a better understanding of how to perform Shakespearean texts? Then look no further. Whether you are an aspiring thespian or not, this course will provide you with an introduction to text and performance techniques that transfer to any context when you have to speak in public: a meeting or a speech. Once you've mastered Shakespeare, you can do anything. The course culminates in a performance of a Shakespearean monologue. At the end of this programme, students will have the opportunity to receive feedback on performances and participate in a question and answer session with an actor who has performed with Globe practitioners. This course also acts a confidence booster to those who want to improve the way they talk to an audience in any capacity.
