Begin with basic expanding and factorising, advancing into more complex problems. This course is suitable for those who want to gain healthy confidence when working with algebraic expressions.
This course will allow students to grasp simplifying algebraic expressions by using factorisation as well as checking their answers by doing the opposite - expanding calculation. Students will learn to be able to identify which terms can be collected and which are already in their simplest form. During this course, students will begin with basic factorisation and move over to more complex versions that require more analytical, as well as logical thinking. By the end of this lesson series, all students will have the skills and practice necessary to feel confident when working with algebraic expressions. This course is perfect for students at or around GCSE-Level, or younger students who are looking to get ahead of their school curriculum.
