Prepare in full for an upcoming GCSE or A-Level module in singing performance. This course is also appropriate for any student with a passion for singing.
This programme focuses on preparing students for their A-Level or GCSE performance module or it can be used to prepare their music for an exam or performance. Over the course of twelve lessons, students will work on three pieces of repertoire. These may be songs of their choice or songs that are recommended depending on their technical ability and musicianship skills. The sessions will be a combination of one-to-one, small groups, and larger group work looking at the musical detail within each piece. The course will culminate in a masterclass where the students will perform their pieces to the group and receive positive comments and constructive advice. Students may also wish to bring their singing exam repertoire to this course or use the course as a way to help prepare for Music Conservatoire auditions.
