A-Level French

Course Overview

On this course, students will focus on the language side of A-Level French. Each lesson, students will look specifically at a grammatical topic. Additionally, students will look at a reading text related to AS/A-Level French, most likely a past paper text but other relevant texts of a similar level could be included. When reading, there will be translation practice and a focus on looking at grammatical structures in texts. There will also be time to practice reading texts aloud to hone pronunciation. By doing this, students will improve their understanding of how grammatical structures are used in certain contexts, and they will develop their vocabulary. There will also be time dedicated to doing some listening papers. There is a mixture of AS and A2 material on this course.
