Course Overview

Are you fascinated by actors and the acting world? Would you like to know more about the theatre techniques that have influenced some of your favourite film stars? Would you like to learn about and try out some fundamental acting techniques? This course gives you an introduction to one of the most popular acting systems in the world, which was developed by Constantin Stanislavski over a century ago in Russia and led to the famous Method acting approach that grew popular in the USA in the 1930s and heavily influenced acting in film (e.g. Dustin Hoffman, Marlon Brando) and theatre in the West from that point onwards. This course is suitable for anyone who is taking a qualification in acting, as well as those simply curious to learn more about the craft.
