This course teaches the history of Hellenism and Athenian Philosophy. Students will learn about the legacy of Ancient Greece and important Greek philosophers. Furthermore, students will compare and contrast the philosophical schools of cynicism, epicureanism, stoicism and scepticism. Students will read creatively so that they can imagine themselves in the roles of the philosophers they study, such as Plato and Socrates. On this course, students will not only expand their horizons and build on their abilities to think critically and closely analyse text, but also improve their reasoning and logical thinking.
