Course Overview



This course provides an overview of the novel as well as close analysis of extracts from Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner. Students will study themes of friendship, betrayal, and learn a great deal about the political landscape of Taliban ruled Afghanistan. This programme focuses on the most critical extracts and encourages students to engage in analysis of key themes, symbols and characters while following the heartfelt story Hosseini creates.
