Have you considered getting into the habit of practising mindfulness, but don't know where to start? Join this course to learn life-changing skills which have the potential to alter your feelings and how you relate to your environment.
An ever-expanding body of scientific evidence shows that mindfulness really does work, not just for depression but also to help people deal with anxiety, emotional and physical pain. Students are shown how to become more aware of their thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, they are better able to manage them. Taking a course in mindfulness meditation helps students to have a real understanding of their emotions, boost their focus and concentration. Mindfulness is known to improve relationships and sleep.
Students are encouraged to reflect on their experience throughout the course in a safe, supportive space that encourages non-judgement, kindness and curiosity. At the end of the course students will be confident in their ability to continue with their own mindfulness practice and will have a tool for life to improve their wellbeing.
