Course Overview

Engaging in mindful movement can lower stress, anxiety and their physical consequences. It can improve your focus and positively impact your mind-body connection. Students will learn the Ten Mindful Movements of the Plum Village mindfulness practice by Thich Nhat Hanh, introduced several years ago. Students are encouraged to move safely and always within their own limits. The movements can be adapted to suit all abilities. You do not have to be good at yoga, exercise or meditation to take part. Sitting or lying down meditation practice will also be included in the sessions. There will be time for reflection and questions.
