The course introduces the basic principles of Economics and elements of Accounting through a series of dynamic and interactive lessons. Core principles of both subjects will be introduced and elaborated upon for students to develop a strong understanding of these domains.
The course introduces the basic principles of Economics and elements of Accounting through a series of dynamic and interactive lessons. Core principles of both subjects will be introduced and elaborated upon for students to develop a strong understanding of these domains. Examples of topics covered include determinants of demand and supply in the market, as well as how an equilibrium price may be established. The course will also allow students to analyse some of the government policies which are employed to tackle economic challenges, thus providing some insight into the real-world application of Economics. The Accounting sessions in the course will introduce terminology used in financial statements, whilst giving students an understanding as to how to navigate a set of financial statements, particularly for information relating to an entity. Finally, students will be equipped with the tools to elaborate on the related area of Audit and its importance.
