Since the first lockdown, I have worked as a freelance Educator. I provide lessons to people with an already high level of English who look to improve on more advanced areas such as pronunciation, idiomatic phrases, phrasal verbs and even slang. This platform has given me valuable insight into the sphere of teaching English as a foreign language. My favourite aspect of this work is forming relationships with my students, as well as building vocabulary and working on accents, I have even helped several people with IELTS and job interview preparations held in English.

My biggest interests are international relations and wildlife conservation. I enjoy football, swimming, kayaking and bird watching in my spare time. As a speaker of Russian and German, languages are my biggest academic strength. I always make sure to learn the basic phrases of the country when travelling to a new place. I have adopted this approach every time I go abroad because I feel it is more respectful and easier to engage with native people. Aside from teaching online during the lockdown, I have been working for a Russian sports branding company. Here I have been responsible for translating the company's online content into English.
