Teaching Experience

I have been teaching music and languages for three years. I am a fully qualified TEFL teacher as well as a music and Italian Educator. I am currently teaching young students, adult casual learners and more mature students.

I teach different singing styles, from opera to pop. My musical theatre lessons are centred around acting, singing and a little bit of movement/dancing. Regarding Italian and English, I mainly focus on conversation and grammar, including listening, reading and writing activities.

I always ask the student what they would like to gain before the start of the session. Younger students need the lessons to be fun and playful, leaving space for their creativity. Students who are preparing for exams would require a more focused environment but still fun. I always encourage them to think for themselves and to be active in the learning process.

About Giulia C

I am an enthusiastic 28-year-old living in London and originally from Rome.
In Italy, I had the chance to study piano and music at the Conservatoire since the age of five, before deciding to move to the UK in 2014 to train in musical theatre.

During my training in the UK, I studied singing, acting and dancing until graduating in 2018 from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Since then, I have been performing in various shows: cabarets, plays, concerts and staged productions. I am a private Educator during the day and a performer in the evening!

I love my job, and I love sharing my passion for music and languages with my students.

I am also involved in volunteering work, and I am very passionate about sustainability and taking care of our planet. Because of that, I recently joined Greenpeace UK, and I am training to become a Greenpeace Speaker. In my spare time, I love to walk in nature, cook and go to the theatre. I also love spending time with my family and friends, travelling and experiencing new cultures worldwide.
