Harry Darell


Harry attended Eton College and Bristol University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in modern languages in 2017. He founded Union Education Group in 2020 to embrace holistic education and provide partners both nationally and internationally with an extensive and bespoke service. He aims to add value to the curricula of the organisations UEG works with and empower students across the world through digital learning. Harry also looks to bring excitement and entertainment to the education process, believing that this will fuel student’s desire to continue developing academically, mentally, professionally and carry on seeking out new skills to learn.

Michael Le


Michael is an Msci Mathematical Science graduate from the University of Birmingham and a BA Acting graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. After graduating, he gained teaching experience both within the classrooms and privately, helping his students enrich their understanding and inspiring them to continually challenge themselves. As is evident with his contrasting degrees, he believes in and advocates the importance of a more holistic approach to learning. Michael founded Union Education Group to bring a team of like-minded Educators together to provide accessible and inspiring lessons to learners in whatever subject, skill or career path they wish to pursue.

Chris Barnard

Chief Technology Officer


Writing software from a young age, Chris was already working freelance as a software developer before he left school. He went on to become technical lead at an early ISP start-up before co-founding a software development company, offering Software-as-a-Service solutions - initially working as Managing Director and then later as Technical Director, staying with the company for ten years. Chris has worked as a software engineer in a multitude of different industries, including live TV broadcasting, radioastronomy and building several EdTech solutions before joining Union Education Group. Chris takes great pride in producing software solutions that are user-friendly and innovative.

Timothy Jackson

Lead Designer


Timothy attended Cheltenham College of Art and Design, going on to graduate from the University of Derby with a bachelor’s degree in Design and Communication. Over the years he has gained a wide variety of experience in design projects with small to large-scale businesses both local and global. His passion is for solving and simplifying complex design problems elegantly and efficiently. With the team at Union Education Group, Tim focuses on making sure that the organisation consistently delivers both clear and concise visual communication. His design work extends across web development, educational media, and various promotional material for the company.

Charles Russell

Head of Media


Charles has significant amounts of teaching experience in a range of creative and artistic disciplines, including acting, filmmaking and photography. In acting, he is trained in all mediums: stage, screen and voice-over. He has thousands of hours of filming experience, including features, short films, trailers and showreels. He has photographed leading musicians such as Rag N Bone Man, Bears Den, Rhiannon Giddens and Frank Turner. In addition, he has photographed sporting legends such as Anthony Joshua, Eddie Jordan and Danny Williams. Charles oversees all filming and media at Union Education Group, in addition to extensively training Educators in this field.

Laurence Atterbury


Laurence studied History at the University of Essex. After volunteering in schools in Nicaragua and Nepal, he became involved in education in the UK. He completed Teach First, graduating with a Diploma in Education accredited by Canterbury Christ Church University in 2019. With four years classroom experience as a teacher, fighting educational inequality and modernising the curriculum are his main motivations and he is very inspired by how online teaching offers improved quality of and access to international education. Laurence ensures students are passionate about their learning and have the skills to not only excel academically but as life-long learners.

Marianthi Bousses


Marianthi graduated from Immaculata University, Pennsylvania with a major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. She later gained a Master’s degree in Education, Culture and Society from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, through her research into Syrian refugees in Greece. Over the years, she has gained a variety of teaching experiences in the educational systems of Greece, the United States and United Kingdom, such as assisting students with special educational needs, teaching maths and science one-to-one and in classrooms, as well as teaching Greek and Maths online. Her passion for making education accessible and engaging drives her work at Union Education Group.

Chi Thanh


Chi is a graduate of Leibniz University, where he studied BSc Computer Science. During this period, Chi was involved in several social projects for students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and refugees that included education and art, and especially dance, theatre, and film. Chi joined Union Education Group to be part of an exciting and determined team who believe in encouraging students to explore their curiosity and expand their knowledge and learning, nurturing the minds of the next generation. He also has a particular focus on expanding the computer science division of the company and building out the internal subject curriculum.

Zuzanna Kowalczyk


Zuzanna graduated from the University of Warsaw with a major in philosophy, specialising in anthropology and ethics. During her professional career, she gained experience in business, client relationships, customer experience and satisfaction. At Union Education Group, she oversees internal operations and communication between clients, partners, students and Educators, playing a crucial role in ensuring that the process runs smoothly. Zuzanna is passionate about the wide range of courses that the company has to offer and its impact on the education industry. Furthermore, she is heavily involved in promoting the organisation in Europe and making education more accessible to all backgrounds.

Bridget Nguyen


Bridget is a BSci Computer Science graduate from the University of Sheffield, along with a year in industry at the top IT Corporation in Hanoi, Vietnam. During this period, Bridget gained extensive teaching experience, including supporting employees with their English skills throughout the organisation. Bridget is an advocate for education for anyone and everyone and believes that with the team at Union Education Group, many opportunities can be created. A key part of Bridget’s role is in the data management side of the company, making sure that the vast amount of information that comes through the website is presented correctly.

Juliette Morison


Juliette attended Cheltenham Ladies’ College before reading English at Oxford University. She later undertook a master's degree at UCL in Modern English. Over the years, she has gained a wide range of experience, teaching students from primary school to university level and catering for many different educational needs. Juliette also has had a lot of experience teaching students where English is their second language and is well-versed in the appropriate methods to tackle any challenges this may pose. She joined the team at Union Education Group to expand the organisation’s broad range of content and assist Educators in their development.

Patrick Fordham


Patrick attended Uppingham School and University in Oxford, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management in 2015. Patrick left University and started teaching and he also worked as a volunteer on the island of Chios where he decided that he would embark on a career in education. He completed Teach First and graduated with a Diploma in Education accredited by Canterbury Christ Church University in 2019. With five years direct classroom experience, a passion for e-learning and engaging students in unique ways backed by the science of learning are his motivations for joining Union Education Group.

Georgio Konstandi


Georgio is a first-class graduate from the University of Cambridge in Modern and Medieval Languages (French, Spanish, ab-initio Russian) alongside select history modules. With seven years of private and in-class teaching experience under his belt, Georgio offers students a dynamic and holistic learning experience. His classes provide a diverse set of transferrable skills that will empower students to excel and flourish in a multitude of fields. At Union Education Group, Georgio’s primary focus is on expanding the course catalogue and making sure that the organisation delivers the best possible content for its students, both in the United Kingdom and internationally.
