Course Overview

This course will help students understand the core techniques required of them for a foundation GCSE maths exam. It covers specification material over five focused lessons with the intention of carefully establishing essential mathematical skills. By focusing on number, algebra, and ratios in a dedicated fashion, students should come out feeling more confident about approaching maths and their exam. Students will benefit especially from time spent really getting to grips with these foundation skills. Each lesson will involve questions that will help reinforce what has been learnt and prepare the student for examinations. Students will be guided through model questions and class examples before being encouraged to work more independently once they have gained the core skills.
