Teaching Experience

I am a Cambridge University alumna with a passion for teaching. I have been a student to some incredible teachers who helped me achieve great success, not because they used very complicated methods, but simply because of their unfailing commitment to my learning and development. With 6 years of teaching experience across several first-class learning centres, this is the foundation of my passion for helping students and the standard of teaching I have always committed myself to. I have always loved the way that philosophical topics can simultaneously engage so many radically different subject matters, hence why I chose it as my undergraduate degree and can offer particular support in this area. Nonetheless, I have a very successful track record in supporting and coaching students in their applications for Oxbridge and have supported over 10 individuals to get offers from Oxford and Cambridge, so this is a service I also offer.

About Amy B

I graduated with a Philosophy degree from Cambridge University. Testament to my previous role as president of TEDxCambridgeUniversity (TEDxCU), I am passionate about philosophy and thought leadership. In my capacity as president of TEDxCU, I was also invited by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to run their first ever TEDx conference on the theme of innovation.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking and weight training. Since the pandemic, I have expanded my culinary palette to east- Asian, middle eastern and Jamaican cuisine. I aim to learn how to make pandan cake next and I am open to any recipes or tips on that matter!
