Take this course to understand what business is like from a practical, real-life perspective. Students are exposed to everything required to build entrepreneurial spirit and sustain a company once it has been born.
How does business work in the real world? Do you have that entrepreneurial spirit, and would you like to run a business in the future? This course looks at real businesses in order to assess what makes them function. Students will gain a firm understanding of how a successful business works by developing their critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems imaginatively. Students will understand how businesses stay competitive and endeavour to stay current in an ever-changing world. When this understanding has been reached, students will use the tools that they have learnt in order to unpick the fabric that makes up businesses and start to examine the foundations of the business world in which we live today.
