This course covers all the knowledge and skills which learners require to excel in the reading section of the English 11+ exam. Students are guided through all the question types which they may encounter and how to answer them to achieve full marks, regardless of the school’s individual mark scheme. A large section of the course covers writing analytical answers as this is considered the most challenging aspect of reading comprehensions. There is plenty of writing practise and feedback is given on a rolling basis to ensure learners are continuously reflecting on their progress to achieve success.
