Course Overview

This course is designed for students to build on the knowledge and understanding of chemistry gained during their GCSEs and Year 12. Across the five lessons, students will build on their current knowledge of chemistry to specifically increase their level of understanding on topics within organic chemistry. For example, we'll build on topics learnt at AS-Level such as organic analysis, while learning new topics in organic chemistry such as carbonyl compounds and amino acids. By the end of this course, students will have a good understanding of the main areas studied in organic chemistry at A-Level.
