Course Overview



Have you ever wanted to perform the works of Shakespeare but always felt intimidated by the long texts, complex language and impenetrable performances? Not any more! This course introduces students to Shakespeare at a manageable pace, allowing curious young actors to delve into some of the most powerful and seminal works of British literature. Working through performance, students will learn crucial acting techniques for classical texts, building confidence and creativity around the celebrated performances of other actors, in addition to those of the young actors on the course. By the end of this programme, students will have develop key skills and techniques specific to Shakespearean acting, whilst developing confidence in their performances.
