Course Overview

On this course, students will focus on the language side of A-Level Spanish. Each lesson will look specifically at a grammatical topic. Students will look at a reading text related to AS/A-Level Spanish, most likely a past paper text but other relevant texts of a similar level could also be included. When reading, time will be dedicated to looking at grammatical structures in texts; students will have the opportunity to practise reading texts aloud to hone pronunciation and there will also be translation practice using these texts. By doing this, students will improve their understanding of how grammatical structures are used in certain contexts, and they will develop their vocabulary. Finally, students should expect to also look at some listening papers. There is a mixture of AS and A2 material on this course.
