Course Overview

Students on this course will continue to build their language skills in preparation for their GCSE examination. The aim of this course is to give each student the boost they need to be able to apply themselves confidently as per the requirements of the written, spoken and listening papers. The course is split into three overarching sections: grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. There will be a particularly strong focus on grammar, as this is often more difficult to learn independently. Additionally, there will also be a good and diverse amount of vocabulary related to key topics studied at GCSE level. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to improve their pronunciation and conversation ability, as well as pick up a range of linguistic transferable skills.
