Each lesson focuses on different chapters, equipping students with the skills to carry out a close reading of the text whilst discussing interesting themes, imagery and characterisations as they read. Each student is encouraged to read the text as closely as possible and to attempt to explain the effect of the language and how it makes them feel.
Working within a dynamic and interactive framework, students will learn to think independently and develop a critical analysis of the language and structure of the text. This course equips students with a wide range of tools they can apply throughout their academic and professional career.
