Course Overview

This course supports students in how to plan and structure essay responses but also how to interpret the question. Timings in an exam-based situation will be emphasised, including the ability to recognise immediately the requirements of longer and shorter answer questions. At the end of the course, students will also be confident in how to reference key theory in any given response, offering the essay a balanced critical framework. This course is the perfect way for students to analyse exemplar responses and interpret the exam question at hand. Additionally, this course will guide students through planning a good essay to apply in exam conditions and will ensure they learn to do so in timed conditions.
