A course for parents who are homeschooling their 4-7-year-olds. Learn to use film and media to enhance the curriculum – in particular English, history, science and geography.
This course is designed for parents who are either homeschooling their 4-7-year-olds or for students who may be temporarily out of school. The focus is on using film and media to enhance the curriculum – in particular English, History, Science and Geography. Resources will be explored and made available but also links to further study. The use of film and media as a way of fully understanding sometimes complex ideas at this age will be the main content of the course, as well as using film as a practical tool. After this course, parents will feel more confident in their ability to home-school their child using various forms of media as resources.
