This intensive A-Level Film Studies course covers the A-Level Film Studies curriculum in only fourteen lessons. All students will be provided with supporting learning resources to help them beyond the course.
This intensive A-Level Film Studies course covers the entire A-Level Film Studies curriculum in fourteen two-hour lessons. The time at which this course is taken is crucial, as if the student embarks upon the course in term one or early in term two, then it's recommended that two further two-hour revision sessions are added close to the exams. Exemplars will be used and exam practice will take place throughout the duration of the study. All films will be studied each week within a relevant, examined theoretical framework. It is envisaged that this course would be undertaken by high-level ability learners completely outside of the classroom as an additional A-Level to those already being studied. It is also possible that a student who, for any reason, has not been able to complete their studies in the classroom is able to enrol on this course. It is also expected that some learners may need additional hours over and beyond fourteen lessons. Outstanding supporting learning resources will be supplied.
