Course Overview

An informative course that provides an introduction for students to politics in the UK. With adapted classes for different age groups, students will gain a wider understanding of the political system as a whole. Discussing and elaborating on topics such as the elections, Parliament, the political parties, and referendums, this programme covers introductory information about the political system. The course will also provide the opportunity for students to discuss current affairs when they will be able to use the knowledge learnt on the political system and parties to discuss relevant and current topics such as Brexit. Students will therefore get an overview of political devices, as well as the British political system, before having two sessions on current affairs.
