Course Overview

Performance has always been used as a way to educate, inform and explore. On this course, students will learn how these aims are applied in theatre for schools, as well as a broad range of performance techniques to apply in Primary School Theatre, and themes that can be explored in this dynamic, challenging and exciting environment. This course will teach students the joys and challenges of theatre in primary schools as well as teaching them to bring their stories to life with their voice and actions. It will encourage young students to pursue the theatre path, as it can be a massive confidence-builder and can convey messages such as anti-bullying and more. This is a programme not only for those students who want to become better performers, but also for those who want to be greater communicators in general.
