academic-development

Course Overview

Do you know the different functions of your body parts? Our bodies: we take them for granted, and rarely, if ever, give thought to the enormous amount of work they do to keep us alive and kicking. This course is designed to provide an introduction to the main systems of the body, offering explanations of how they come together to help us navigate our daily lives. During this course, students will identify some of the main systems of the body, including muscles, bones, organs and nervous systems and gain a basic understanding of what they do, and how they work. By the end of this programme, students will have a solid understanding of all key body parts and what they do. In addition, they will have a renewed appreciation of the body and all its functions.
