Do you struggle with the twisted story of 'Macbeth'? This course is for students working towards their English literature GCSE. It is designed to make the plot and themes of the play more accessible, and in turn, more enjoyable. The programme will look at Shakespeare's writing and the meanings behind his choice of language, as well as how to find relevant quotes. It will provide practical strategies for tackling questions in the GCSE exam papers (all exam boards), as well as allowing students to understand the infamous Shakespeare on a deeper level, guide them to find pleasure in reading his work and hopefully inspire them to continue to do so! By the end of this programme, students will not only feel fully confident with 'Macbeth,' but they will also feel comfortable and confident when studying Shakespeare on a wider scale.
