This course examines the changing nature of the medieval period and looks at the key areas in which progress was made during this time - thinking about how we examine evidence from this time period and what it teaches us!
The medieval period seems poles apart from our modern world, but you’d be surprised how much the medieval period has influenced the present! We will be exploring the medieval period as a time of change, be that religious, political or economic, and thinking about how this has shaped our modern world. We will examine sources from this period, as well as looking at landmarks built in the medieval period that still persist today!
