Ayurveda is a science that is new to the Western culture. This course introduces what Ayurveda is, how it can support our health and wellbeing and shares practical knowledge that can be useful in your everyday life.
On this course, students learn the principles of Ayurvedic wellbeing and medicine, while contrasting it to Western ways of diagnosing and medicating illnesses. Ayurveda places great importance on diet in respect to one’s health, and this course guides students to understand their body type and reevaluate their eating habits to ensure the gut remains healthy. The programme also includes ideas and guidance for detoxing, boosting the immune system, and treating insomnia.
